Overview

Mining, Oil & Gas Services (MOGS) is a black-owned pan-African leader in the oil and gas infrastructure and mining services sectors.

Established in 2007 and based in South Africa, MOGS comprises two divisions: MOGS Oil & Gas Services, a pan-African owner and operator of oil and gas infrastructure, and MOGS Mining Services, a leading provider of specialist mining services. MOGS is majority owned by Royal Bafokeng Holdings (RBH), the community investment company owned by the Royal Bafokeng Nation Development Trust (RBNDT).

Our investment philosophy – of creating sustainable, broad-based value – is aligned with that of our major shareholder. Both mining and oil and gas operations aim to deliver maximum value for customers, societies and governments. In developing sustainable sources of income, MOGS is integral to the Royal Bafokeng Nation’s strategy of creating diverse sources of income for future generations.

Operating with the utmost integrity and professionalism, we partner with global leaders in the oil and gas infrastructure and mining services sectors who share our vision. Our partnership with the Public Investment Corporation – which acquired a 49% shareholding in the company in 2016 – accords with the MOGS philosophy of building inclusive social equity and sustainable financial value.
